meet Nicole
Nicole is a licensed speech-language pathologist who has been practicing since 2008, following completion of her Master of Science In Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northern Arizona University. She began her career in a hospital setting, providing evaluation and treatment for adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders. During this time, she co-led a Stroke Survivor and Caregiver Support Group, offering education, support, and community resources to individuals navigating life after stroke.
In 2011, Nicole transitioned to serving pediatric populations. Her school-based experience spans preschool to high school settings. Since 2023, Nicole has worked in private practice, servicing children of all ages across the Phoenix metro.
Nicole's diverse background across age groups has given her a unique perspective on developmental progression and the environmental transitions children experience when entering school-age academic settings. Her clinical expertise is in articulation and phonology, phonemic awareness, language development, AAC, and social communication. She is deeply committed to collaborative care, believing that meaningful progress occurs when parents, caregivers, teachers, para-professionals, and other service providers work together. This collaborative approach is woven into her daily approach.
Nicole holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is trained in Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension & Thinking (V/V), along with Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program for Reading, Spelling, and Speech (LiPS).
Nicole is excited to join ABC Speech Partners team for the 2026-2027 school year. She lives in Scottsdale with her husband and their two children. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, reading, and spending time with her family.
